'Time please!' in a pub in England means you have to get your last orders in. Sometimes literally, sometimes metaphorically... This was an illustration I did for the science section in the Financial Times
Wow, Time is on time. I always struggle until Wednesday to come up with an idea and then on Thursdays get them posted at the last minute because I have such a difficult time making that little thumbnail that never wants to go through. Anyways very nice work! How are things across the pond?
Yes, "Time, gentlemen, please". When I first came to Scotland that meant 10pm! Oh dear, and my husband has just gone out for the makings of this evening's cocktails! Love the style.
I am an Illustrator, living in London. I've been illustrating ever since I filled up my maths books with doodles. This blog is to show some of my experiments, and working's out, some good some bad and pictures that I just do for the hell of it.
